Malegaon Superboys is a film based on the life of Naseer Sheikh, an amateur filmmaker from Malegaon. Residents of the city turn to Bollywood cinemas to distract themselves from the everyday hustle and bustle. Nasir was inspired to make a film for the people of Malegaon by the people of Malegaon. He gathers his motley crew of friends to bring his dream to life and breathe new life into the city. This film is a poignant but heartwarming look at filmmaking and friendship, and what happens when these two worlds collide.
