Dexter Morgan: I lived in the dark for a long time
His son, David Zayas Jr., stands in for his father in some shots, as the two look remarkably similar. Visible in the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later, in the second season, the scar migrated to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked.

I’m breathlessly anticipating the next episode
The complex and damaged characters, the twisted plot, and Dexter’s foster father who grooms and trains him to make him the perfect avenger – it’s all so intoxicating! Not only is this show well acted, with each and every main character capturing my full attention, but it’s also written with such a deep intensity that I find it absolutely irresistible! I really can’t wait and see more of how Dex was traumatized as a child, more of Harry’s lessons, more of the growing relationship with Rita, more of the ice cream truck killer, more forensics…
